Obituary

Vincent M. Maljevec, Jr., 51, of Beaver, died unexpectedly Friday, September 5, 2014 in his home. He was born July 19, 1963 in Rochester, and was the son of the late Vincent M. Sr., who died August 8, 2014, and Helen Kasunich Maljevec.

Vincent had grown up in Midland and had been a member of Presentation Catholic Church and later SS. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church of Beaver. He had a keen interest in electronics and a love of the space race. There are very fond memories of numerous family gatherings and the July 4 celebrations at his aunt and uncle's home. He also enjoyed playing ping-pong for hours at the Midland Heights playground and with his cousins.

Vincent is survived by his brother, Joseph Maljevec of Wappingers Falls, NY and many aunts, uncles, cousins and a special friend, Wilma McRoberts.

Friends will be received today from 6 to 8 p.m. in the TODD FUNERAL HOME, 340 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Beaver, with Father William J. Schwartz, officiating. Interment will be in Beaver Cemetery.
