Obituary

Wanda Jean (Gent) Herbert, formerly known as Wanda Snyder, 71, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 in PAM Health Specialty Hospital at Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born in Winchester, Virginia on July 21, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Mack and Georgia (Combs) Gent.

Wanda worked at Valley Health Winchester Medical Center in Virginia for over 19 years.

Wanda is survived by her beloved husband of almost 21 years, Martin James Herbert III; a son, Michael (Daline Ung) Snyder; step-children, Beck (Matt) Caldwell, Marty (Jessica) Herbert IV, and Adam (Tasha)  Herbert; and a sister Linda Gent.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Gary Snyder; and her siblings Carol Gent and Jack Gent.

All services for Wanda were private.
