William "Bill" G. Trout, 88, of New Sewickley Township, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026 at AHN Wexford Hospital.

Born on May 6, 1938 in Coraopolis, he was the son of the late Edward Trout and Elizabeth McFadden.

Bill adored his dog Bentley. He enjoyed cars and model airplanes.  Bill was known to be an avid Steelers football fan throughout his life. He enjoyed yard work and caring for the land.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Linda (LaForce) Trout; his children, William "Bill" Trout, Barbara Axton, and Stephanie Besong; and his grandchildren, Lance Axton, Heather Besong, and Jeremy Besong.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Catherine (Edward) Arnold.

All services for Bill were private.

Entombment will take place at Beaver Cemetery & Mausoleum.
