Obituary
William Comby, 97, of Baden, formerly of North Sewickley, passed away in Concordia at Villa St. Joseph on Friday, March 7th, 2025.
Born in Beaver Falls on December 15, 1927, he was the son of the late Steve and Mary (Schlac) Cumbay Sr.
William was a service man at Columbia Gas and was Catholic by faith.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances M. Comby; son, Charles E. Cook; brother, Steven Cumbay; sister, Wilma DiGiovine; and daughter-in-law Judy Cook.
William is survived by his two sons, William A. (Janet) Comby and Robert Cook; three grandchildren, Tammy, Ronald, and Bobby; and one great-grandchild, Hannah.
A private internment took place at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park at 273 PA-68, Rochester, PA 15074.
All arrangements were entrusted to the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, Inc.-117 Blackhawk Rd. Beaver Falls, PA 15010, who were honored to care for William and his family.

I’m so sorry to hear about Bill. I was a member of the morning McDonalds coffee guys and spent many years talking to Bill there. When COvid hit our group move down to Enelow Shoes in Beaver Falls and Bill was one of the guys who joined us. We’ve missed him the past few years.RIP Bill.
