Very sad to hear of the passing of one of my all-time best friends on April 4th, 2020. I haven’t seen Gilsey in many years but I can remember 100’s of fantastic times we had together back in the good old days, growing up in Beaver Falls, Pa. Most of these fantastic times I’ll keep to my self, no need, but remembering some brings a huge smile on my face. He was a lot of fun! I had the honor of being Billy, Jr.’s best man 32 yrs. ago when Sis and he got married. One short story I will share was on that day of the wedding at I believe was at the Chippewa Methodist Church on Darlington Rd. in Chippewa Twp., our home. I was traveling from Arizona via Chicago and had a 12 hour delay in the Windy City because of a snow blizzard. Well, after many phone calls back and forth, I kept telling him to go ahead, don’t wait for me. His reply was, We’re waiting! Sorry Sis, I tryed. Anyway, my friends Moe Fulton and his future wife, Nancy Ross picked me up at the airport and I changed into my suit on the way to the church. After about a 2 hour delay, everything went as planned. That’s the way Gilesy was, he loved me like a brother as I did towards him.😢 May you Rest In Peace my brother!!!🥰❤️🎣🐟🍻 This one’s for you!! Amen!! From
