Obituary

William J. Winkle, age 52, of Beaver Falls, died on Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born March 23, 1964, in New Brighton, he was the son of Patricia A. (Fraser) and the late Richard A. Winkle Sr. William was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by one daughter, Victoria Featherstone (Don); four sons, Matthew Winkle, Jacob Winkle (Courtney), William Winkle and Alex Winkle; three brothers, Richard Jr., Tim and Tom Winkle; one sister, Nichole Johnson; his significant other, Janice Jackson, and seven grandchildren, Tyler, Connor, Isabella, Samantha, Gabriella, Vanessa and Matthew Jr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Kay Winkle. Friends will be received Saturday from 2 p.m. until the time of services at 4 p.m. in the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton, gabauerfamily funeralhomes.com, with Pastor Donald MacNeil officiating. A private interment will follow. Gentlemen from the Veterans Honor Guard will meet at the funeral home at 4 p.m. to conduct full military honors.
