Obituary

Theodore C. Field, 84, of Hopewell Twp., died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospice. He was born September 26, 1931, in Marion Twp., to the late Joshua William and Edna Mae (Bernd) Field. He was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Barbara (Bader) Field; a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Lori Field, Baden; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Jeff Mikulich, Monaca; and two sisters, Donna Jean and Edna “Dovie” Collins, both of Rochester; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley “Butch” Field; and three sisters, Patricia Beckert, Sandra Morell, and Beverly Renzo.Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the GABAUER-MATTER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 1133 Church St., Ambridge www.gabauermatterfuneralhome.com where the Beaver County Special Unit will provide full military honors at 12:50PM followed by a funeral service at 1PM on Wednesday. Pastor Cletus Fahrion will officiate. Private interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Aliquippa. The family wishes to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for their service.
