Janie M. (Butler) Driggers, 98, of White Township, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, in her residence with her loving family by her side.
Born on December 12, 1922 in Bennettsville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Dora (Sanders) Butler. Janie loved spending time with her big family and attended Pathway Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Driggers; daughter and son-in-law, Cornelia (Gary) Nelson; four brothers; and one sister.
Janie is survived by her daughter, Love (Bill) Osborn; grandchildren, Sherry (Will) Weber, Ed (Theresa) Carter, Janie (Anthony) DeGennaro, Anita (Michael) Hohn, Barbara (her spouse) Brett, Lynn (James) Tennette, Gary Nelson, Katie, Elizabeth, and Phillip Osborn; twelve great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; two brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
As per the family’s wishes, a private memorial service will be held, along with a private inurnment at Crownsville Veteran’s Cemetery in Maryland.
