Alton Eugene Magby, 72, formerly of Raccoon Township, and later of Midland passed away Sunday October 28 in Brighton Wellness and Rehabilitation, Brighton Township. He was born August 14, 1946 in Hot Springs, AR and was the son of the late Winford and Ruth Padgett Magby. Alton was an electrician for IBEW #712 and had attended Duquesne University. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a brother Charles. Surviving him are his brother Keith (Kim) Magby, Centerville, OH, a sister-in-law, Faye Magby and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver. Interment will be in John Anderson Cemetery, Hookstown.
