Obituary

AJ Pritchard, age 29, of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, was born on December 25, 1991, in Aurora, Colorado.  He is the son of Anthony Pritchard of Beaver Falls and Tonya (Yerby) McIntyre of Macclenny, Florida. He passed away on August 28, 2021.

AJ graduated with the Class of 2010 from Blackhawk High School, where he was a member of the diving and track teams. He was an avid skateboarder, guitar player, and loved to play pool. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, but the most precious to him was the time he spent with his daughter, Hennessy.

In addition to his parents, he also leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved daughter, Hennessy Amor Pritchard; his stepmom Kerry Pritchard and stepdad Eugene McIntyre; his brothers Jared Yerby, Phillip Pritchard, Jory Mauldin, and Alexander Pritchard; his grandparents Joe and Pat Pritchard, Shelby and Wanda Yerby, and Michael and Judy Cook; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

AJ you were my favorite Christmas present the day you were born, and you were and are my best friend forever. ~ Jared

Your whole life you’ve been the same person, you never changed or conformed, you were true to yourself, and if nobody liked it, you didn’t care, and that’s what I love most about you. ~ Phillip

I’ll always remember all the good times we spent together, especially when we were younger, endlessly playing and trading Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Those days were the best. Most of all, you showed me how to always stay true to myself. I love you brother, you are free. ~ Jory

I’ll never forget the times we had together listening to music or playing Tony Hawk or Need for Speed at 2am on a school night. I will truly miss you. I love you AJ, stay wild and free for me. ~ Alexander

AJ will be dearly missed by so many but would want everyone to remember the philosophy he lived by, “Free Life”.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2:30pm until the time of AJ’s Celebration of Life Service at 3:00pm at the Brady’s Run Skate Park in Brady’s Run Park- Rt 51, Beaver Falls.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a favorite charity in AJ’s honor.

Arrangements were handled by GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME& CREMATION SERVICES, INC.-117 Blackhawk Rd., Chippewa Twp.

  1. I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting AJ but I’ve known his dad, uncles, aunt & grandparents for just about forever. My heart is with all of you at this painful time. I wish I’d have known on time to be there to comfort you.

  2. My daughter Anastasia is you sister. From pictures we’ve seen you two look so much alike, when you were in your teens & early 20’s. She was thrilled to look at the pictures of her brothers.

I am sorry you left us all so soon. May your father & brothers find solace, in knowing you are free.
