Obituary

Anthony L. Rascoe, 44, of Pittsburgh, entered into eternal rest from a lengthy illness on Saturday, April 1, 2017.He was born September 22, 1972, to the late Merle D. Rascoe Jr. and Gloria (Taylor) Rascoe. Anthony was a graduate of Aliquippa High School Class of 1990, attended the New Castle School of Trades, and was a member of Christian Lighthouse Church, Aliquippa, Pa., where Rev. Boxley was the minister. He was a very kind and loving person, and enjoyed watching the Steelers and going out to eat. He will be greatly missed.In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Aniyah Rascoe of Ambridge; his sister and brother-in-law, Benita and Maurice Priest; his granddaughter, Jayla Rascoe of Ambridge; his aunts, Ida Moore of Williamston, N.C., and Gayle Johnson of Greenville, N.C.; his uncle and aunt, Johnny and Felica Rascoe of Williamston, N.C., and one true friend, Ronnie Bouler of Beaver Falls.Anthony leaves to cherish a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Merle Sr. and Eula (Clemons) Rascoe; aunt, Mildred Brown, Greenville, N.C., and his uncle, Joseph Rascoe, Williamston, N.C.All funeral arrangements were private. Rev. Troy Sligh presented the eulogy and interment followed in Woodlawn Cemetery.
