Obituary

Catherine Louise (Bable) Dodson, 86, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on March 2, 1935, she was the daughter of the late William and Vernetta (Carlton) Bable.

Catherine was a sales clerk for Giant Eagle and a faithful member of the Bennett’s Run United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, William Clyde Dodson on February 5, 1983; her children, Robert Dodson, Thomas Dodson, Patricia Genevie, and Katherine Behrle; a brother, Robert Bable; a sister, Ella Mae Throckmorton; and a grandson, Aaron Genevie.

Surviving is Catherine’s daughter, Sandra (Claude) Neidlinger; 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends will be received at the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton, on Saturday, February 5th from 10AM to 12PM, at which time a funeral service will be held.

Private interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Catherine’s name may be made to the Cornerstone of Beaver County, 600 6th Street, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
