Obituary

Clyde P. Ramsey, 77 of Vanport passed away Thursday June 16 in his home. He
was born October 2, 1938 in Beaver Falls and was the son of the late Clyde
L. and Rita Kane Ramsey. Clyde was a long time resident of Vanport, had
worked as a conductor and brakeman at ConRail, was a member and former
Deacon of the Vanport Presbyterian Church, was a member of the Vanport
Volunteer Fire Department and was an Army veteran. In addition to his
parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Janet in 2006 and a brother
William Ramsey. Surviving him are his daughters, Sherri (Mark) Mosqueda,
Finleyville, Michelle Clapsaddle, Monongahela and Amy (Tim) Fisher, Vanport,
grandchildren, Brian Burns and his fiancée Julie, Jessica and Sarah
Clapsaddle and David and James Fisher, 4 great-grandchildren and a sister,
Patricia Butler, NC. Friends will be received Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 in
the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver where a funeral service will
be conducted Monday at Noon by his pastor Reverend David Byers. Interment
will follow in Beaver Cemetery. The family suggests contributions may be
made to the Vanport Presbyterian Church or the Vanport Volunteer Fire
Department.
