Obituary

David Leroy Slima, 76, of Daugherty Township, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born on July 27, 1944 in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Viola (Cunnings) Slima. David enjoyed the outdoors hunting, camping and he was an avid fisherman fishing all his favorite fishing holes. David also enjoyed watching all the local high school and college athletic events. He was a member of the Fryburg Sportsman's Club and the Eagles Club.

David is survived by two sons, David andChristopher Slima; two daughters, Cassy (Steven) Smith, and Debbie Slima; six grandchildren, Mallory, Kayla, Chase, Afton, Thaddeus, and Diamond; two great-grandchildren, Waylon and Charlotte; and a nephew, Clint Slima.

He is preceded by two brothers, Gerald and Joseph Slima; and a sister.
