Obituary
Dolores A. Guthrie, 86, of Eastvale, died Saturday, November 26, 2016, in Beaver Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center.Born December 21, 1929, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Bernice (Peters) Heckard. She was a member of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church. A graduate of Beaver Falls High School, Dolores was a loving wife and mother who dedicated her life to taking care of her home and family. She was a great cook and an avid card player.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Wayne Guthrie; a brother, James Heckard, and two sisters, Blanche March and Shirley Binder.Surviving are two sons, Thomas (Mary Lou) Guthrie, East Palestine, Ohio, and Brad Alan (Mary) Guthrie, Medina, Ohio; a daughter, Debbie (James) Kindelberger, Apex, N.C.; seven grandchildren, James Kindelberger, Daugherty Twp.; Lauren Guthrie, New Brighton; David Kindelberger, Apex, N.C.; Tiffany Guthrie, Beaver Falls; Brieanna Guthrie, Conway, and Cody and Chloe Guthrie, Medina, Ohio; three step-grandchildren, Courtney Kisella, Medina, Ohio; Bridgette Helbling, Canton, Ohio, and Kelly Helbling, Medina, Ohio; five great-grandchildren, Jesse, Noah and Addison Kindelberger, Gracie Borkovich, and Lilly Krall; one step-great-grandchild, Beckett Helbling; a brother, William Heckard, Chippewa Twp.; a brother-in-law, Charles March, North Sewickley Twp.; two sisters-in-law, Patty Heckard, Beaver Falls, and Marcella Heckard, Beaver, and many nieces and nephews.Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., www.gabauerluttonfuneralhome.com. Dolores will lie in state at the Westminster United Presbyterian Church, 115 N. Mercer Avenue, New Brighton, Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. Pastor Jordan Rimmer will officiate.Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.The family requests that any memorial contributions be made in Dolores’s name to the Westminster United Presbyterian Church.
