Obituary

Dominic Anthony Mignanelli, 86, of Beaver, formerly of Rochester Township passed away Sunday April 7 in Beaver Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Aliquippa.

He was born August 18, 1926 in Rochester and was the son of the late Samuel and Alessandra Rizzi Mignanelli. Dominic had Miggie’s Shoe Repair in Beaver for many years and later worked at Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Vanport for 19 years until his retirement. He was a member of SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver, the American Legion in New Brighton and the Sons Of Italy. Dominic had served in the Navy during WWII and was stationed at Cocoa Beach, FL. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary W. Tippett Mignanelli in 2002, 2 brothers, Andy in 2011 and Harry in 2012 and a sister Mary Mignanelli in 1931.

Surviving are a son Samuel (Tammy) Mignanelli, Beaver, a daughter Patty (Brian) Gall, Beaver, 4 grandchildren, Ian Gall and Anthony, Alissandra and Joseph Mignanelli, a brother Albert (Nancy) Mignanelli, Rochester Township, a sister Betty (Paul) Pompeo, Conway, SC, a niece Becky (Baron) McDaniel and a nephew Mike (Karen) Pompeo.

Friends will be received Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 and Wednesday 9 until service time at 10 AM in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver. Father Robert Miller of SS Peter and Paul Church of Beaver will officiate. Interment will be in Beaver Cemetery.
