Dorothy E. Thompson
Formerly of Beaver 
Dorothy E. Thompson, 93, of Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls, formerly of Beaver, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Brighton Township.
She was born October 16, 1923, in New Brighton and was the daughter of the late Everett and Myrtle Jacobs Balderson. Dorothy was a member of the Vanport Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband, Andrew H. Thomas; her second husband, John C. Thompson; a brother, William Balderson and a sister, Betty Calvin.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, William R. and Susan K. Thomas, New Brighton; a granddaughter, Kelly L. (Joe) Holoweiko, Big Beaver; two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 3 p.m. to service time at 7 p.m. in the TODD FUNERAL HOME, 340 Third St., Beaver. The Reverend David Byers, her pastor, will officiate and interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Providence Care Center Activity Fund, 900 Third Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 or the Vanport Presbyterian Church, 289 Georgetown Lane, Vanport, PA 15009. 
The family would like to thank the outstanding staff of Wing 2B at Providence Care Center for their compassionate care given Dorothy and also the excellent staff of Good Samaritan Hospice, Brighton Township.
