Edward T. Skopinski, Jr., 69, of Beaver, formerly of Brighton Township, passed away Monday January 19. He was born June 22, 1945 in Baltimore, MD and was the son of the late Edward T. and Margaret Kathryn Skopinski.

Ed had formerly lived in Brighton Township, was in sales for various innovative technological firms, was a member of SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church of Beaver, had served in the Navy during the Viet Nam Conflict and was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh earning a Degree in Physics. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Lynn Skopinski on April 23, 1913.

Surviving are his children, Steven (Jenna) Skopinski, Monaca and Kathryn Skopinski, Industry, 2 grandchildren, Riley Lynn and James Skopinski and a step-sister Evelyn Wuszinckas, Alaska.

Friends will be received Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 AM by Father Robert Miller. Entombment will be in Beaver Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Beaver Area Memorial Library, College Ave. Beaver, PA 15009 in Ed’s memory.
