Obituary

Frances Ann Stein, 76, passed away at the Villa St. Joseph Wednesday, May 24, 2017.She retired from Ambridge Area School District and enjoyed word search, crossword puzzles and her owl collection. She was a member of Good Samaritan Parish in Ambridge.Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Peg (Toth) Stein, and her brother, Hank.She is survived by her brother, Jeff (Rosemary) Stein; niece, Michelle Hapich, and great niece and nephew, Hannah Rose and C.J. Hapich, whom she loved dearly.Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER-MATTER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Church St., Ambridge, gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com,followed by a Memorial Mass on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Good Samaritan Parish. Father Joe Carr will officiate.Interment will be private at Good Samaritan Cemetery.The family would like to thank the staff of Villa St. Joseph for all their kindness and compassionate care.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Villa St. Joseph, 1030 State Street, Baden, PA 15005 for their Music Therapy Department.
