Frank R. Evangelisto

Frank R. Evangelisto, 93, of Vanport, passed away Monday June 2 in Friendship Ridge, Brighton Township. He was born June 26, 1920 in Altoona and was the son of the late Carmen Antonio and Marie Durante Evangelisto. Frank was a retired typesetter for the Beaver County Times, a member of SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church of Beaver and an Army veteran of WWII.

He is survived by his wife, Helen E. Lombardo Evangelisto, a son Sam F. Evangelisto, North Carolina, a daughter, Adele L. Evangelisto, Bellvue, PA, 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Jill and Lou and 2 sisters, Helen and Josephine. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Mary and a brother Albert.

Friends were received Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver and a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday at 11 AM by Father Robert Miller. Entombment followed in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Rochester.

The family wishes to thank the staff of 3E at Friendship Ridge for their excellent and loving care given Frank the last 4 years. The family suggests contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer Association.
