George R. Freeland, 87, of Brighton Township passed away Friday May 19 in Villa Saint Joseph, Baden. He was born May 24, 1929 in Mannington, WV and was the son of the late Archie and Bertha Rice Freeland. George was a retired employee of Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Vanport and was an Army veteran having served during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carol Ann in 1991. Surviving him is his daughter Theresa Lynn Freeland of Roaming Shores, Ohio. There will be no services at this time.
