Obituary
Gerald “Jerry” Francis Luther, 75, of Daugherty Township, passed away at home on Sunday, March 27, 2022.
Born on May 17, 1946, in Rochester, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph and Marie (Taddeo) Luther.
He retired from Niemeyer & Associates as a Project Manager in 2012. Jerry was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time at his camp in Tionesta, PA. Most importantly, he treasured spending time with his family.
Jerry cherished his kids and was so proud of his grandchildren and all of their many accomplishments.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 56 years, the love of his life, Linda (Dyke) Luther; daughters, Monica (Ron) Gallagher, Chippewa Twp., PA, Gina Minto, Phoenix, AZ; his son, David (Rachael) Luther, Clintonville, PA; grandchildren, Brittany (Rick) Nowacki, Breana and Brook Gallagher, Michael and Jeremy Luther, Emily, Adam, and Douglas Luther; great-grandchildren, Alexia and Ryleigh Bowers; a sister, Evelyn Carlon, Charleston, SC; a brother, Ralph (Alice) Luther, Rochester, PA; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Witman, Columbiana, OH, and Diana Crawford, Darlington, PA; special friends, Trish and Joe Ross; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Luther.
Friends will be received on Friday from 6-8PM in the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton.
A private Blessing Service will be held for the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jerry’s name to Our Lady of the Valley Parish, or the Hillman Cancer Center, Beaver.
