Obituary

Helen Ann Maljevec, 82, of Beaver, passed away peacefully at her home and returned to her Lord Friday December 20. Helen was born April 7, 1931 in Midland and was the daughter of the late Stephen and Rose Kasunich.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years Vincent Maljevec, Sr., and by 2 sons, Vincent Maljevec,, Jr., of Beaver and Joseph Maljevec, Wappingers Falls, NY. Helen is also survived by her brother John Kasunich, Midland, and a sister Agnes Ezzo, Brighton Township, many in-laws and many nieces and nephews whom she deeply treasured. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Katherine Maljevec and brother Stephen Kusunich, Jr.

Helen was a faithful and active member of St. Blaise Parish in Midland and later at SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church of Beaver. She enjoyed volunteering at many school and church functions and liked to tend to her flower garden and play cards. Helen was a retired nurses aid and later became a member of the Crimson Line at Friendship Ridge in Brighton Township.

Friends were received today from 11 AM to 11:30 in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver and a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at 12 Noon in SS Peter and Paul Church, Beaver by Father Robert Miller. Burial took place in Beaver Cemetery
