Obituary

Helen Jankowski, 90, of North Sewickley Township, formerly of Beaver Falls, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in her home,surrounded by her loving family.She was born November 22, 1925 in New Brighton, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Haluska) Musuta. She was a member of St. Monica Parish, and was a former member of the Rosary Society of Holy Trinity. Her passion was designing beautiful Easter eggs and she enjoyed sewing.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Jankowski (2010); three brothers; and two sisters.Surviving are a son, John C. (Mary) Jankowski, Ellwood City; a daughter, Cindy (Michael) Kolch, North Sewickley Township; four grandchildren, Chelsea (Brandin) Kolch-Broome, Jaime Kolch, Bryan Kolch, and Felicia Jankowski; two great-grandchildren, Taygen and Everly Broome; and several nieces and nephews.Friends will be received Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1117 Fifth Ave., Beaver Falls, www.gabauerluttonfuneralhome.com, where prayers will be offered Saturday at 9:20 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Monica Parish-Chippewa Site. Father Bill Schwartz will officiate.A rosary will be recited on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.The family requests that contributions be made to the Saint Monica Catholic Academy Angel Fund, 609 10th Street Beaver Falls, PA 15010.The family would like to give special thanks to Vitas Hospice and Homemaker Health for all of their loving care and support.
