Howard “Butch” Leslie Healey

Howard “Butch” Leslie Healey, 67, of Economy Borough, passed away Saturday August 23. He was born September 29, 1946 and was the son of the late Howard and Betty Marvin Healey.

He was a 1964 graduate of Beaver High School and also graduated from and proudly taught at Robert Morris University. Butch worked at J&L Steel in Aliquippa and Arrow Terminal in Industry. In addition to being a member of the Vanport Presbyterian Church, he was an enthusiastic doowop fan and enjoyed listening to Kenny Vance and the Planotones.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Joyce, his 2 children, Ryan Healey and Krista Healey, a sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Bill Russell, Beaver, brothers-in-law, Pinky Miser, Industry and Lou Estermeyer, Patterson Township, brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Becky Bearer, New Sewickley Township, many nieces and nephews and 2 loving dogs, Sidney and Gina. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Patricia Miser and Nancy Estermeyer.

Friends will be received Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver where a service will be conducted Tuesday at 10 AM by his pastor Reverend David Byers. In lieu of flowers the family suggests friends may make memorial contributions to a charity of their choice in Howard’s memory.
