James Joseph Koss

James Joseph Koss, 66, of Baden, formerly of Vanport, died unexpectedly Thursday January 22. He was born April 25, 1948 in Rochester and was the son of the late Peter A. and Michaelena Walejko Koss.

James was a member of SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church of Beaver and volunteered with Life Line and the Blue Army. He was a self employed painter and a very charitable man. Let the light of the Lord Jesus shine in all you do. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas J. Koss, John Koss and Paul Bralkowski and sisters, Theresa Stychula, Henrietta Beading and Sally Winter.

Surviving him are 2 brothers, Larry Koss, Mass. and Francis ‘Frank’ Koss, Baden and numerous nieces and nephews, including Jonathan Koss.

Friends will be received Tuesday and Wednesday 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver and a Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10 AM in SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Beaver with Father Robert Miller officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beaver Falls.
