James P. Steinmiller
Vanport
James P. Steinmiller, 56, of Vanport passed away Tuesday August 22 in UPMC Shadyside. He was born March 23, 1961 in Sewickley and was the son of Shirley Rae Schwarz Steinmiller, Vanport and the late William R. Steinmiller. James had resided in Vanport most of his life, had worked for the Allegheny Airport Authority as a maintenance supervisor and for the last year for Miller Pipetech of Rochester Township. He had attended the New Brighton United Methodist Church and had been a softball coach for the 18 and under traveling team After Shock. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law Thomas Judson Irwin. Surviving him are his wife Pamela J. Irwin Steinmiller, twin daughters, Jamie Lynne Steinmiller, Oakdale and Susan Lynne Steinmiller, Vanport, brothers, William R. Steinmiller, New Castle and Robert R. (Sharon) Steinmiller, Enon Valley, mother-in-law Mary Ann Irwin, New Brighton, brother-in-law, Jay J. Irwin, Columbus, OH nieces and nephews, Fred Steinmiller, Julie Stone, Sean Steinmiller, Sheila Dotson, Cole, Katelyn and Chelsey Irwin. Friends will be received Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver where a funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11 AM by Reverend Scott Berkley of the New Brighton United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Beaver Cemetery. The family suggests contributions may be made to the New Brighton United Methodist Church, 1033 6th Ave. New Brighton, PA 15066 Electronic condolences may be shared at www.toddfuneralhome.net
