Obituary

James Sylvester Vogel Jr., 80, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 in Good Samaritan Hospice of Beaver.

Born on July 29, 1940 in Mt. Washington, he was the son of the late James S. Vogel Sr. and Esther Dennison. Jim was a veteran of the United States Army and a laborer for B&W Steel. He was also a proud member of the American Legion of Beaver Falls Post #261.

James is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Jo Ann (Borghi) Vogel; son, James M. (Elizabeth) Vogel; step-daughter, Michelle (Ken) Fox; grandchildren, Gabriell Vogel, Caleb Vogel, Rudy Vogel, and Allison Ann Fox; sister, June Vogel; brother-in-law, Thomas (Cathy) Borghi; as well as several nieces and nephews.

As per the family’s wishes, all services were private.
