Obituary

Jean Beglin, 89, of Beaver Falls, died Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in Good Samaritan Hospice. Born January 14, 1927 in Marianna, PA, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Louise (Pollock) Beglin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Lorraine Rousseau and Shirley Young. Jean was employed at the Youth Center in Beaver Falls for 20 years prior to having a stroke. Jean was an avid sports fan but she especially enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. She loved to share the games with her family who were always first in her heart. Jean is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl L. and George Hall of Beaver Falls; her sister, Brenda Minamyer of Negley, OH; two grandchildren, George Hall Jr.(Kristin), and Ryan (Carmen) Hall; nine great-grandchildren, Mandy(Brian) Diamond,Andrew Hall, Kristin Sherrock, Jessica Hall, Isabella Hall and Jacob Hall, Jenna, Elena and Tyler Hall. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, all of whom were very special to her. Friends will be received Friday from 10:00 AM to time of service at 1:00PM in the Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Home 117 Blackhawk Road-Chippewa www.gabauerluttonfuneralhome.com. Pastor Peggy Suhr-Barkley of Trinity Lutheran Church, Ellwood City will officiate. Entombment will follow in Beaver Cemetery. Jean’s family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Valley, Beaver, the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice, her Anova caregivers, and her friend and caregiver Donna Maier for their kindness and care.
