Obituary
Jeffrey James Whitt Sr, 69 of Ohioville, PA died on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at his home.
Born on April 15, 1954 he is the son of the late James Edward Whitt and Dorothy (Davidson) Whitt. Jeff was skilled at many things including work as an electrician, steel laborer, and more recently as a Utilities Production Maintenance Support Coordinator for Nova Chemical (Retired). Jeff enjoyed hunting and outdoor activities with sons and friends. He also enjoyed hosting cookouts with his sons, family, and friends. Jeff also enjoyed playing billiards with his wife in the past several years.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Terri (Walton) Whitt; sons Jeffrey Whitt Jr, wife Carmen Hurtado-Whitt, and their son Jeffrey; Johnathan Whitt, wife Emily White, and their children Stella, Brady, Liam, and Rose; Sisters, Carol Chewning and Cindy Whitt of Nashville, North Carolina, Barbara Hooley of Beaver, PA and Molly Whitt of Midland, PA, and a brother-in-law David Chewning (Nashville, NC), Brother in law Paul “Butch” Walton Jr, his wife Theresa Walton (Industry, PA) and sister in law Darlene McMillin (Industry, PA). Jeff also had many nieces and nephews.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, and Paul Walton Sr (father-in-law), and Marie (Nemchik) Walton (mother-in-law).
Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 6th from 2-4PM 6-8PM at the GABAUER-TODD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES (Branch), 340 Third St., Beaver.
A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, June 7th at 11AM with Chaplain Donald Scandrol as officiant.
Entombment will follow at Beaver Cemetery Mausoleum.

We can’t adequately express the sorrow we feel at the passing of Jeff. He was a strong and good man, a loving brother and brother-in-law. He’ll be remembered by us all.

I’ve had the unique pleasure of meeting Mr. Whitt twice. Both times during his grandsons birthday parties in Miami, Florida. I got to meet him through his son Jeffrey Whitt who has been a very good friend and co-worker of mine for the past twenty years. After meeting his father the first time I can could tell right away why my relationship with his son was so strong. Like his son, he treated me like an old friend of the family’s. A really nice man who was down to earth and was always accommodating to everyone around him. In his son (my close friend) I can see the attributes his father instilled in him. Jeffrey was lucky to have such a father figure in his life. I had the opportunity to meet his mother as well. A lovely lady who complimented his father. My heart goes out to her, and her family. Thoughts and prayer to the Whitt family.
