John J Justi Jr. 91 of Brighton Twp. formerly of New Brighton died Tuesday December 6, 2016 at Heritage Valley- Beaver.Born August 8, 1925 in New Brighton, was the son of the late John J. Sr. and Naomi Revelant Justi. He retired from St Joe Lead where he worked as a bricklayer, was a Veteran of WWII serving in the United States Army, was the recipient of a Purple Heart, good conduct medal and a conduct infantry badge, he was a member of St Cecilia Catholic Church, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister, lector, member of the choir, and was a member of The Knights of Columbus and the Serra Club, John loved to garden, make wine and spend time with his family.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Rita; a brother Fr. Marvin Justi, 2 sisters Dina Lesinski, and Edda Justi and a granddaughter Angel Justi. He is survived by 3 sons Chris (Rhonda) Justi, Larry (Sandy) Justi, and Jeffrey (Denise) Justi ; 3 daughters Jane (Steve) Balzer, Elaine (Ken) Rall, and Dee Justi, eleven grandchildren Jessica (Ashley) Justi, Amanda (Brian) Petronchak, James (Joslyn) Justi, Jason (Marisa) Justi, Julie (GB) Wetzel, Natalie (Gabe) VanHorn, Lisa Balzer, John Balzer, Dan (Janine) Balzer, Amy (Kirby) Elliott, and Emily (David) Renner, 10 great grandchildren Oliver and Elliot VanHorn, Grace, Audrey and Claire Balzer, Sarah and Joshua Balzer, Elijah and Noah Elliott, and Abigail Renner; a brother Ronald (Cindy) Justi and a sister Elsie Lesinski also several nieces and nephews.Friends will be received Thursday 6-8 pm and Friday 2-4 and 6-8 in the Gabauer Funeral Home 1133 Penn Ave New Brighton. A mass will be offered Saturday at 10:00 am at St Cecilia Catholic Church 628 Virginia Ave Rochester, Pa 15074.
