Obituary

Joyce C. Thomas, age 81, of Beaver Falls, died Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born July 24, 1935, in Patterson Twp. she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bernice (Simmons) Shotsinger. She was a retired secretary for the La Paz County District Attorney’s office in Arizona.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; William G. Thomas, and a grandson; William K. Thomas.She is survived by a stepson; Bill Thomas and wife Karen of Beaver Falls, a stepdaughter; Dawn Boyd and husband Richard and their family of Indiana. She is also survived by one granddaughter; Kelly Thomas, one great grandson; Shane Alexander; a brother in law, Zenas Thomas, and three sisters in law; Lydia Thomas, Lorraine Metenay and Mary Louise Brown, and their families.As per Joyce’s wishes, all services were private, and handled by the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME 1117 5th Ave. Beaver Falls, PA 15010 www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com
