Obituary

Katherine M. Gintner, 65, of Ambridge, died Friday, December 23, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospice House, Wexford.She was born September 1, 1951, in Rochester, the daughter of the late Mary E. Gintner. Katherine was employed at the Maple Restaurant for 41 years, retiring in September. She was a member of the Good Samaritan Church.Surviving are her aunts, Katherine Azadian, and Marcella Gintner; cousins, Michael Azadian, Ton (Sharon), Jim (Maggie), Dan, Ed, and Ray III Gintner, Bernadette (Bob) Jablonowski, and Theresa (Kelly) Hitt.In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Anna Gintner; uncles, Raymond Jr. and Lena, Al Gintner, and Billy Gintner; cousins, David Azadian and Angela Donovan.Friends will be received Monday from 4-8 p.m. in the GABAUER-MATTER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Church Street, Ambridge. www.gabauermatterfuneralhome.com, where prayers will be offered Tuesday at 11 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11:30 at Good Samaritan Parish in Ambridge.
