Obituary

Leroy B. Waddell, 86, of Brighton Township passed away Tuesday August 13 in Rochester Villa following a prolonged illness. He was born May 1, 1927 in Clinton, PA and was the son of the late Keith and Celestine Meyers Waddell.

Mr. Waddell was a retired oil industry executive, a member of SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church of Beaver, had served in the United State Navy and was an avid golfer. Surviving him are his wife of 62 years, Dorothy (Shutey) Waddell, sisters-in-law, Amelia Shutey, Beaver, Suzanne Waddell, Youngsville and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd.

A private service was conducted Friday in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver by his Pastor Father Robert Miller. Entombment followed in Beaver Cemetery Mausoleum.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Allegheny General Hospital Neuroscience Research Fund, Allegheny General Hospital, Office of Fund Development, 320 East North Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212 or to the SS Peter and Paul We Care Fund, 200 Third Street, Beaver, PA 15009.
