Mary Lou Graeser Sherry
Vanport

Mary Lou Graeser Sherry, 88, of Vanport passed away Saturday March 7 in her home following an extended illness. She was born June 21, 1926 in Monaca and was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Hare Graeser.

Mary Lou had lived in Vanport for 65 years, was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church of Beaver, had worked in the accounting department at Colt Industries, Midland, and later worked for and then retired as secretary for the base Commander of the 911 Reserve Base.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John G. Sherry in 1969 and 4 brothers, William, Clarence ‘Bud’, Robert and Philip Graeser.

Surviving are her children, Thomas ‘Tim’ (Becky) Sherry, Beaver, Beth (Wayne) Sherry Robbins, Greenville, SC, Linda (Tom) Sherry Larson, Pittsfield, NY, Kathleen Sherry Cummings, South Beaver Township and David (Katherine) Sherry, Jay, NY. She also is survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 AM in Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Beaver with Father Robert Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery.
