Matthew Earl Stalnecker, 39, of New Brighton, formerly of Vanport passed away unexpectedly Tuesday January 17 in his home. He was born June 8, 1977 in Brighton Township and was the son of Daniel E. (Darlene)Stalnecker and Sharon Louise (Randy) Morrow. Matthew was employed at Moe’s in Robinson Township and had formerly worked for Traco Alcoa in Cranberry and Kobald in Robinson. He was a past member of the Vanport Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to his parents and step-parents he is survived by brothers Jamey (Kerri) Stalnecker, Brent (Rhonda) Stalnecker, Randy (Alayna) Morrow Jr., Bill (Terri) Pratt, Doug (Amy) Pratt, sisters Erin Stalneker (Ashley Ryan) and Julie DeSantis, grandmother, Betty Bunish, aunts and uncles, Tim and Susie Bunish and Terry and Shirley Brooks, nieces and nephews, Winifred Stalnecker, Joshua, Jacob and Jordan Pratt, William and Nathan Pratt, Jason, Joslyn DeSantis, Jordon Sabin and Ariel Scheppe. Friends will be received Wednesday from 5 to 8 and Thursday from 10 until service time at 11 AM in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver. Interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester. The family suggests contributions may be made if desired to the Vanport Volunteer Fire Department or the Diabetes Association.
