Obituary
Mildred A. Nalesnik, 83, of Big Beaver Boro, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 in her residence with her loving husband by her side.
Born on January 6, 1938 in New Galilee, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Thyra (Hoopergardener) Phillips.
Mildred is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, John J. Nalesnik Sr.; five children, George (Lita) Phillips, of Las Vegas, Karen (Jeff) Wolfe, of New Galilee, John Jr. (Kim) Nalesnik, Stephen (Debbie) Nalesnik, all of Darlington, and Mary Ann Bork, of Texas; fourteen grandchildren, Audrey, Aaron, Courtney, Jesse, Brody, Brittany, Brandon, J.J., Breana, Jennifer, Jessica, Carla, Amanda and Amber; twenty one great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Catherine Robinson, Mary Strock, and Bill Phillips.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC.- 117 Blackhawk Rd., Chippewa Township, www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com. A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Lee Bittner officiating.
A private interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Trinity Family Practice, extended thanks to Dr. Ujevich for his compassion during the last few days of her life. As well as Dr. Patel and Dr. Yakish from cardiology levels 1, 3,and E.R. for the special care and comfort they provided for Mildred.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Beaver County Cancer and Heart Association- 3582 Broadhead Rd. #201, Monaca, PA 15061.

I will always wish I could peel potatoes as fast as you could.. my kids still remember rolling sown the huge hill.. and making nests out of the grass clippings. Love ya Aunt Mick.. Dee, Ben Cass and Curt

Aunt Mick I have so many memories of you it’s too hard to pick one. You were the best pie maker, your crust was perfect every single time. You were a baker, guess that’s where I get it from. You always brought cookies for us to eat even when u and Uncle John came to Georgia to be with us for Mum snd Dads anniversary and then Dads funeral. Growing up we had fun at Brady Run Park, Sunday dinners at Grandma and Grandpa’s, the auctions with Uncle Bill and spending time with Aunt Mary when she come home to visit. Sleep overs when Mum had card club just to name a few. I miss our weekly phone calls. Please hug and kiss everyone for me. Keep Dad straight. Love you always. Pauline and girls
