Myrna Jean Fleming
Brighton Township

Myrna Jean Fleming, 85, a resident of Brighton Township since 1957 and formerly of Bridgewater, passed away Tuesday December 8 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Brighton Township.

She was born April 27, 1930 in Rochester and was the daughter of the late Earl and Mildred Courtney Evans.

Myrna was a former teacher for the Beaver Area School District, had taught piano for 44 years, and was a member of the Beaver Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. She was a 1948 graduate of Beaver and 1951 graduate of Geneva College. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Richard Lewis Fleming on December 30, 2011 and a brother Courtney Evans.

Surviving are a son Raymond Fleming and daughter, Linda Lee (John) Bodycombe, all of Brighton Township, 3 grandchildren, Kristie Paulovich, Lesley Fleming and Aimee Fleming, 2 great-grandchildren, Shawn and Emily and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver where a funeral service will conducted Thursday at 11 by her Pastor Reverend Roland Gray. Interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester. The family suggests contributions may be made to the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 490 College Ave., Beaver, PA 15009.
