Obituary

Patsy Diane (Hilliard) Mueller, 69, of New Sewickley Township, passed away on Friday June 3rd, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.Born June 11, 1946, in Sewickley, PA, Patsy was the daughter of the late James and Thelma (Smith) Hilliard. She was a 1964 graduate of Ambridge High School. Patsy worked many years at Paragon in Harmony, PA. She worked as a volunteer with young adults at the Lutheran Home for Children in Zelienople, PA. She was a mother to everyone, a caregiver to the elderly, relatives, neighbors and abandoned animals. She received the Butler County Mother of the Year award in 1977. She enjoyed spending time with her 9 grandchildren, Nicholas and Collin Hallas, Ashley and Alyssa Imhoff, Allison, Jared and Kaitlyn Mueller, and Josephine and Charles Brenckle. She loved cooking for her family and friends. She also made beautiful quilts. Patsy kept her mind sharp by doing daily crossword puzzles, playing board games and hosting family trivia night. She also had a good sense of humor and pulling pranks. She was a wonderful mother, a kind and generous person and always made people feel welcome.She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, George Mueller and her four children, Janine (Nicholas) Hallas of Campbell, CA, Julie (Donald) Imhoff of New Sewickley Twp, PA, Jason (Erika) Mueller of New Sewickley Twp, PA, and Jennifer (Christian) Brenckle of New Sewickley Twp, PA. Sisters, Marcella (George) Mason of Economy, PA, Carole Rosenfeld of Gurley, AL, brothers in law, Charles Droz of Ambridge, PA, Robert (Ann) Mueller of Elizabeth City, NC and Karl (Debby) Mueller of Sewickley, PA, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.Preceding her in death in addition to her parents, are her brother Charles Hilliard and her sister Barbara Droz. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.A memorial service will be held later this month for family and friends at Hope Lutheran Church, 8070 Rowan Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066.Arrangements were handled by Gabauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc.1133 Penn Avenue New Brighton www.gabauerfuneralhome.com.

Rest In Peace Uncle Tom, we have many fond memories of you, you were such a character, we will always think of you in laughter,my children loved seeing their "great-uncle" they too will cherish their memories!   4. My condolences. I remember how Stanley was working I our barn and I fell into a pen with a mother pig and babies. I was probably about five at the time. Just in time Stanley was able to reach over the pen and pull me out before that angry Momma could take a bite. I have a scar under my nose where I hit the feeding trough! Glad to hear he had enjoyed some traveling. I remember my mom telling of the dances the Lapinski family had in their barn on 37th st. Lots of polkas.
