Robert Floyd Shively
Robert Floyd Shively, 78, of Brighton Township, passed away Friday May 8 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Brighton Township.
He was born December 17, 1936 in Rochester and was the son of the late Robert and Edna Cain Shively. Robert had been a resident of Brighton Township for the past 25 years and had formerly lived in Freedom. He was a retired Postal worker for the Bulk Mail Center in Cranberry Township, a member of the SOI and an Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving him are 2 sisters, Mary Ann Shively, Freedom and Linda Shively Baker, Doylestown, PA, 4 nieces, Lara B’Oris, Dr. Jaclyn Rosenzweig, Jesse Baker and Lindsay Hegna, all of the Philadelphia area. Great nieces and great nephews he dearly loved are, Emma, Sara, Maya, Bristol, Jack Rowdy, Avery, Lane and Charlie. He will also be greatly missed by his cousin Arthur Swartz, Fl.
Friends will be received in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver Monday from 11 to 12 Noon. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Beaver County Cancer Society.
