Obituary

Shirley M. Kovack, passed into the arms of her Lord on Sunday, April 24, 2016. Born July 15, 1946, in Elkins, West Virginia she was preceded in death by her parents, Gene Basil and Josephine Shreve; two brothers, Harold and Billie Shreve and a sister, Debbie Pletcher. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Lee Kovack; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian Newman, GA; Greg Newman, FL, and Ron and Kristie Kovack, TN; a daughter, Charlene Ross, FL; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Howard and Millie Wilson, North Sewickley Twp., and Roger Shreve, GA; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kay and John Vogel, Eastvale, and Betty and Dennis Kohanowicz, Hopewell Twp.; also nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Ethel and Terry Lefebvre for checking on her daily. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., www.gabauerluttonfuneralhome.com, where a service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Pastor Jeff Marquis will officiate.
